After meeting with Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu, U.S. President Donald Trump gave a shocking statement in a joint press conference that the U.S. will take over the Gaza Strip after shifting all the Palestinians into neighbouring countries.

The U.S. is planning to redevelop the Gaza Strip once Palestinians are settled in neighbouring countries and will create more employment there. Donald Trump earlier suggested Middle Eastern countries accept Palestinians in their countries, he mentioned that Palestinians have no other choice but to abandon the Gaza Strip but the Arab leaders had steadfastly rejected this idea.

When specifically asked about Jordan’s refusal to accept Palestinians, Donald Trump gave the example of Venezuela which recently agreed to take back illegal migrants after refusing for a year.

In the press conference, when asked, ” Who would live there?” Trump replied, “It could become the home of the world’s people”.

In the 16 months of the Israel-Hamas brutal war, almost 47,000 people lost their lives, and nearly 45,936 Palestinians and 1,706 Israelis died.
