Recently, a big congress leader and Lok Sabha MP Shashi Tharoor who is also well known for his excellent vocabulary is again in the news after his clarification on ties with George Soros. He stated that he had only met him once and that was also at Union Minister Harshdeep Singh Puri’s residence in New York when he was a diplomat.
In his recent post on X, Tharoor clarified that he knew George Soros in a social sense and he has not taken any money from him for any of his foundations or for himself or any of the institution or cause he supported.
He met Soros when he was Minister of State, Ministry of Eternal Affairs, and visited New York in his United Nations days.
He had to give clarification on his relationship with George Soros because one of his old posts went viral in which he called Soros an old friend and quoted him as a concerned world citizen who was curious about our neighborhood.
Before this post became viral, the current ruling party BJP showed concern about the deep relations of Congress and the Gandhi family with U.S. Investor George Soros who is well-known for breaking the Bank of England.
BJP alleged that Congress is taking the help of Soros to fulfill their intentions of removing the BJP from power at any cost, they don’t care about the country, they only care about how to remove the Narendra Modi government.
In response to these allegations congress has mentioned that they don’t have any ties with George Soros but the truth is still unrevealed.
