After a long tussle, South Korean authorities arrested impeached President Yoon Suk Yeol on Wednesday against his martial law order on December 3 which was taken back after a few hours.
The Joint Investigation Headquarters issued an arrest warrant for President Yoon today (Wednesday) January 15 and after that almost 3000 police officers and anti-corruption investigators reached his hillside residence and tussled for hours with his People Power Party members and supporters and arrested President Yoon from his hillside residence.

Yoon’s lawyer argued that this attempt to arrest Yoon was illegal and designed to publically humiliate him
On December 14 Lawmakers in Parliament voted against his martial law order and removed him from the President position.
A big motorcade was seen leaving his hillside residence after his arrest and some minor scuffle also broke out between Yoon’s supporters and police.
