Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkumar Rao’s starrer, Stree 2, made a huge collection at the box office in recent days. Not so many movies make this kind of collection nowadays. In September we might see the re-release of many iconic movies such as Taal, Veer Zara, and Pardes.
In previous months we have seen the re-release of the iconic ‘Raja Babu’, ‘Rehna Hai Tere Dil Mein’, ‘Gangs of Wasseypur’, and the super iconic “Maine Pyar Kiya”. People refreshed their memories after watching them in the theatre again.
As per the entertainment websites such as Bollywood Hungama, Veer Zaara might be in theatres from September 13th and Pardes might be from September 20th.
What is the need to re-release old movies?
Firstly, they all were blockbuster movies and people enjoyed watching them in the past this is the major reason for re-releasing them again in theatres so that people can recall their old days.

Another reason is, nowadays we do not see many movies in theatre which are highly appreciated by people and who make big collections at the box office. Also, nepotism is the biggest challenge nowadays, where highly talented stars are replaced by the star kids in the movies and it results in people missing connection with movies because of the less hard work and talent.
