China urged the U.S. to cancel reciprocal tariffs completely and asked the U.S. to return to the path of mutual respect.
A Chinese Commerce Ministry spokesperson said in a statement “We urge the U.S. to take a big step to correct its mistakes, completely cancel the wrong practice of ‘reciprocal tariffs’ and return to the right path of mutual respect.”
Donald Trump in his statement, that the U.S. wants to focus again on improving its manufacturing sector and that semiconductor tariffs will play an important role in fulfilling goals.
China completely disagrees with the U.S. and their commerce ministry released a statement mentioning that Mr. Trump’s reciprocal tariffs have “not only failed to solve any of the United States’ problems but have seriously undermined the global economic and trade order”.
