Delhi has in total of 70 legislative assembly seats, and on every news channel, it is Arvind Kejriwal vs. Narendra Modi for each seat.
On each seat, there is a different candidate fighting to prove why he/she is better than the other party candidate. Most of the people even don’t know who is competing against Arvind Kejriwal or Aam Aadmi Party in Delhi from BJP party.
That’s not how politics should work, BJP is using PM Modi’s popularity everywhere. It is not that if our country has an excellent and hardworking Prime Minister so BJP can use his face everywhere, he can not work for you in your locality same for AAP who is showing Arvind Kejriwal’s face for every seat, that MP/MLA will work for you who will win that seat.
These days, one of the biggest political parties Bhartiya Janta Party is doing this thing in every election, people have already chosen the next PM face from BJP, UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.
It started to look like people were voting for the whole party even for the smallest election, they were not interested in finding out the candidate who if fighting the election from their locality he/she had how many criminal charges, and what promises he was making for the next five years or if he is sitting MP/MLA, what work he has done till now.
The current scenario is every party have one popular face and the worst thing is that the media also showing only those faces everywhere, they are also now interested in showing candidates’ promises and their past performance which makes them better candidates than others.
Steps to be taken for fair elections
- Focus on your local contesting candidate.
- Check if he or she has any previous charges.
- Check what promises he is making for the betterment of the society/area.
- Check his response time for the complaints.
- Check if he is knowledgeable enough to make smart decisions.
- Check if he has fulfilled his past promises.
Arvind Kejriwal, Narendra Modi, Rahul Gandi or any famous political figure used by party can not work more efficiently for your locality. These are a few factors to consider before voting for any famous face of big political parties. If they have not met your checklist, use the Nota button but go for voting.
